Maggie the Monkey picks the conference championships

3-1 in second round

Maggie the Monkey went 3-1 in the 2nd round, only getting the Ottawa over Sabres pick wrong and leads all the TSN experts throughout the playoffs (7-5). For the conference championship round, Maggie takes Carolina and Edmonton. So far so good for Edmonton but the Carolina pick might be in trouble.

Good luck, Maggie. We got $5 on you.

Going by her record — I think Sabres will win. But I’m rooting for Carolina and my boy Rod Brind’Amour.

Hey Yanks… — Did you know insulting monkeys brings bad luck? Hurricanes 4, Sabres 0. Viva la Maggie. I still want the Sabres to play Edmonton, but the Oil is so flu-ravaged the Ducks might seriously come back and take that thing. I have an awful feeling.

comeback from 0-3 — highly unlikely.

Hell, you can’t even blow a 3-1 lead.. (unless you’re the Flyers).

I’m rooting for Carolina over Edmonton.  I hate Carolina but my boy Brind’Amour is on that squad.  I wonder if he gets his name on the Stanley Cup, whether he’ll send Lindros a photo.
