Betting — I wouldn’t be on Francona at 9-1 seeing as how he just got a big pay raise and a contract extension.
Torre at 19-1 might be a value bet however… you never know when Steinbrenner will go off and say/do something stupid and push Joe over the edge.
I don’t know how they come up with these odds — How do they figure Torre is the least likely? Unless they think Steinbrenner won’t go nuts till towards the end of the season if the Yankees melt down toward the playoff run.
