Hey, everyone gather round, Lance Armstrong, doping expert and medical doctor doesn't believe that Floyd Landis took any banned substances when he won the Tour de France last year.

I think conventional wisdom is that he will lose (his arbitration hearing), because USADA has never lost a case," said Armstrong, the guest speaker Tuesday at an Aspen Ideas Festival health forum discussion.

"The arbitrators don't ever rule for the athletes," Armstrong said, according a story in Wednesday's edition of The Aspen Times. "Quite frankly, the system is set up against the athletes. Unfortunately for him, I don't think he did it. That's always been my position and still is today.

So despite multiple positive tests and expert testimony that the levels of testosterone could not have been produced naturally, Dr. Lance Armstrong has decided that Floyd Landis isn't guilty of doping. Oh, and don't forget the story about Landis' manager threatening Greg LeMond if he testified against Landis.

There's about 100% chance that Floyd Landis doped up for the Tour de France. There's a slightly less than 100% chance that Armstrong did too and just never got caught. So Lance, shut the f up and go back to hawking crappy yellow bracelets.

I can tell you just how stupid, you fact-deficient asshat; really fucking stupid.

First, Floyd won last year not "next" year, that is unless they now include seeing the future as part of the "Low-IQ" package you got stuck with.

Second, Mr. Landis did not have "multiple positive tests"...in fact, he did not even have ONE. Check your facts, moron. Seriously, you think you are pretty clever but all you've shown is your willingness to swallow the media reports like some typical dumb American.

Lastly you predictably attack Mr. armstrong. now, considering his accomplishments and stature, maybe you should choose another line of attack when you malign a great champion and hero for the bicyclists and cancer survivors all over the world.,

No surprise here.  Nike and LIVE WRONG are a fraud too.

Roid Landis will soon be sanctioned for doping--and hopefully a LIFETIME ban for his witness tampering--which he confessed to, yet NEVER apoplogized for.

Landis supporters deserve Roid-Floyd and the defeat of another steroid invected myth.  Tyler Hamilton was another such USPO almumni lying creep.

Armstrong is a metaphor for FRAUD.

Mr. Landis didn't "tamper" with anyone. For tampering to occur, it would have to be a real, "legal" process, not a sham/circus act like private arbitration. Get a clue. Perhaps ask yourself why Lemond brought his lawyer and refused to answer questions? Mr. Lemond put himself in a tenuous spot, claiming Mr. Landis, out of the blue, admitted drug use, while using the arbitration as a forum to push his own story and agenda and then CONVENIENTLY refusing, under no legal basis, to answer a single question. This was a pre-concieved act designed to stymie Mr. Landis' highly damaging exposure of the crap work of WADA/USADA and the LNDD.

as for "not apologizing", better check the facts/transcripts, fiction-boy. You are looking more the fool.

If Floyd didn't have a positive test, then why is he in so much trouble? A reasonable person can argue about the competence of the French drug testing lab, but I believe that Floyd had a positive test for testosterone on both his A and B samples, hence the ongoing problems...

I think it's more likely that a "typical dumb American" would knee-jerk defend an American accused of cheating, rather than admit that something might be suspicious. Would you be defending Alejandro Valverde with the same passion?

And what's with all the name-calling ("asshat", "moron")? It doesn't help support your arguments, and leads one to assume certain things about your character.

BTW, as the writer of the previous post, I'm not saying Floyd doped, or that he should be banned. I'm just saying that there's no way anyone can be so sure about Floyd's innocence or guilt, so lay off the smarter-than-thou proclamations and accusations.

One interesting piece of news that I just stumbled across: Oscar Pereiro, who came in second to Floyd and thought he would inherit the yellow jersey once Floyd was punished, is apparently involved in Operation Puerto and has refused to turn over his DNA for analysis, just as Basso refused for a while. (The news item I read is from a while back - is there an update to Pereiro's story?) How pitiful for cycling if Floyd AND Pereiro were shown to have doped.

Arnie Baker's Power Point approach was a disgrace too.

Ever wonder why David Witt was shot in the head on August 16, 2006?   Just one week after Landis 'B test' confirmed his anabolic steroid use. (T = steroid)

Witt was celebrating with Roid in Paris---then was shot in the head three weeks later.  Odd?

This Landis creep attracks trouble.  Death, witness tampering and doping.   Sort of a Chris benoit of cycling, eh?
